Why should you choose me to help you?
I’ve worked in our industry for over 25 years as a nanny, trainer, and consultant. My work with caregivers, parents, and agencies around contract negotiation and development and successful employment relationships has given me a unique perspective and real world experience in what works and what doesn’t. As a certified mediator and conflict coach, I have the added tools needed to help people find effective ways to communicate, to negotiate in ways that build and support relationships while finding agreement and to deescalate and process high conflict situations. Whatever challenge you’re facing, you’re not alone. I’m here to help.
Do-It-For-Me A to Z Nanny Contract
Don’t want to do it yourself? Then let me do it for you! With a 30 to 60 minute phone call I’ll pull together your information then create your custom contract and get it to you within 48 hours. Don’t worry if you’re unsure about anything. I’ll assess your needs, outline your choices and offer advice on what solution best fits your situation. This is a great option for parents who are first time employers, have an especially unique situation or are just too busy right now to get it done. Please note, this option is for the parent or nanny who knows what terms she wants to include in her contract. If you need help negotiating the terms, please see the Contract Negotiations option below.

You’ve found a wonderful nanny or job. You talked about duties, pay, and benefits during the interview and you know you’re in the same ballpark but now you have to nail down the details. That can be a lot harder than it sounds. There are a lot of details to work out and because there’s no standard anything, it can be confusing, overwhelming and uncomfortable. I can help both sides clarify their needs and wants, understand the other’s perspective and come to an agreement that works well for each side. All the details will be captured in a customized A to Z Nanny Contract.
$275 include 2.5 hours of phone consultation with parents and nanny and customized contract.
Has your nanny or employer presented you with a contract you have questions about? Do you want to make sure your agreement provides you the protection you need before you accept the terms? Then a contract review is perfect for you. I’ll review your current or potential contract, provide a written evaluation outlining possible trouble spots, then finish up with a phone consultation to answer any questions you have.
$50 includes 75 minutes of document review, evaluation write-up, and phone consultation.
Unresolved conflicts between parents and nannies are the number one reason nannies leave their jobs and parents fire their nannies. Most of the time, these conflicts can be resolved before they become destructive to the nanny / family relationship. But if no action is taken, tension builds, communication breaks down, assumptions are made and the nanny or parent chooses to end the relationship rather than deal with the increasingly difficult situation. That’s difficult for the nanny and parent and hurtful to the children.
If you’d like to resolve the conflict you and your nanny are facing, I can help. As a certified mediator, conflict coach, and nanny / family relationship expert, I can help you work through the issues you’re facing and strengthen your working relationship.
Professional Letter Writing for High Conflict Situations
Sometimes the nanny / parent relationship simply cannot be salvaged. Sometimes it’s the best for all the parties to end the relationship and move on. However if you’re facing an unresolved issue (e.g. nanny is owed severance or back pay, employer wants the caregiver to stop visiting child without permission) it can be difficult or even impossible to move on without resolving things. It’s easy to get caught up in the strong emotions of a conflict and see legal action as your only alternative. But’s it’s not. Before jumping into a process that’s emotionally draining, time consuming, and expensive (and too often ineffective!), why not try to communicate through a letter that shares your perspective and needs in a way that has the best chance of deescalating the situation and getting you and the other party working together towards resolution?
$95 includes up to 30 minutes of phone consultation and letter creation with up to 3 revisions.
